|
The District Treasurer’s records for membership are used to determine the club with the most new members. |

District Ten Net Gain Membership Award |
|
The District Treasurer’s records for membership are used to determine the winner. The award is based on “net” gain. This award comes with a $100 check from the District. |

The Ethel Fritch Award is presented by the District, and the winner of this award is automatically submitted for the Lethal H. Brown Literacy Award. Submit a written entry in the format of the Letha H. Brown Award. A cash award is given by Altrusa of Colorado Springs, CO. |

This award is no longer judged on the the Club Activity Reports, which are submitted to District Ten’s Vice Governor, Judy Stubbs, and are due May 31st each year.
To be considered for the Distinguished Club Award, a club must submit the application by certified mail to the International Office by May 31st of each year. |

The objectives of this award are to encourage and stimulate international relations, create an awareness of other cultures and people of the world and to recognize outstanding club achievement in International Relations. |

Submit a written entry in the format and requirements of the District Ten Governor’s Award. |

Recognition is given in 3 categories: Yearbook: send 3 copies; Newsletters: send 3 copies each of 3 different newsletters Web Sites. Send 3 copies of your home page, along with the web address and web master. You may also send your entries in PDF format via email in lieu of sending hard copies. |

Funded by the Altrusa International Foundation, Inc. the ASTRA Club Service Award annually recognizes ASTRA Clubs for the service activities they conduct in their communities and schools. The 2008-2009 awards will be given in recognition of service projects conducted from June 1, 2008 to May 1, 2009. Entries must be submitted to the International Office by May 31, 2009. |

Community Leadership Award recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to their communities as volunteer leaders. The Community Leadership Award is presented annually, with the recipient selected from nominations submitted to the International Foundation by Altrusa Clubs. Nominations should be submitted directly to the International Foundation Office in Chicago, Illinois by May 1, 2009. |

The Eleanor Roosevelt Humanitarian Award is Altrusa International’s only award given to an individual member. Designed to recognize an Altrusan who makes a lasting contribution to community service as a result of involvement with Altrusa. Recipients must have a distinguished service record at the Local, District and International levels. Submit nominations to International no later than May 15th. |
